Beautiful, quiet nature spot and a great starting point for hikes in the Rhön. The location by the shady stream was especially pleasant with our dog. When it got a bit tight on the first day due to two larger campers, Lukas helped out quickly and straightforwardly: we were easily able to switch to the large meadow opposite, which was also a great alternative – with plenty of space and lots of peace and quiet. Very pleasant contact, we felt completely at home with our camper van and would gladly come back.

A very beautiful pitch with 'natural air conditioning'. - The pitch offers a lovely and harmonious panoramic view from the valley into the rolling hills. The little river called Sinn flows right by the pitch, and it makes sense to position your vehicle with the entrance facing it. Firstly, there is direct access to the river for a refreshing dip, and secondly, you aren't quite so 'on display' when 'life' naturally passes by on the gravel path: happy children, horses and riders, and walkers with friendly pets – all of whom, of course, pass at a discreet distance and fit perfectly into the landscape. The location is superb: while the sun rising behind the hills in the east provides pleasant warmth, it is naturally shaded by deciduous trees just before reaching its zenith. I stayed at the pitch during the third week of a 'heatwave with tropical nights'. My conclusion: you can hardly find a better-oriented pitch – sun, cool breezes, shade at the right time, and a clean stream within arm's reach. The pitch is so well-leveled that I only had to minimally level my car and single-axle caravan lengthwise using the jockey wheel. Plenty of nature, also with many possibilities to set up and align mobile solar panels. Needless to say, the booking and communication with host Lukas were excellent. One more tip for the arrival: The entrance to the gravel path for the pitch is a sharp right turn – depending on your direction of travel, either after or before house no. 63, on the opposite side of the street from house number 62.

A small strip of meadow between a stream and a field path. Great view of the green valley. Close to the village, but still far enough away. The grass was well-mown. The ground is level. Would love to come back!
