It’s great to have you here! WEGELAGER is a place that is still growing—step by step, idea by idea. Our vision is to create a space where people can slow down, enjoy nature, and simply have a good time. In addition to our pitches and the yurt, we plan to gradually introduce more features. For example, we are planning a small honesty-bar kiosk where guests and visitors can grab drinks and snacks. All proceeds go directly back into WEGELAGER, helping us continue to develop this project. By staying with us, you become a part of this journey—and for that, we would like to say a huge thank you. WEGELAGER is located on a meadow next to our house and offers a total of three pitches with electricity, water, and internet for vans, rooftop tents, and ground tents. Please note: we unfortunately cannot accommodate motorhomes longer than 7 meters! In the immediate vicinity, you will find numerous shops, hiking and cycling trails, and swimming lakes. Please be aware that the lake right by the house is unfortunately not open for swimming or fishing! IMPORTANT: - We do not currently have a camping toilet on-site. - The outdoor shower provides cold water only. - Our camping kitchen is a small outdoor setup primarily intended for washing up. The nearest bakery is about 3 km away and easily accessible by car or bike. In the neighboring villages, you'll find numerous shopping opportunities, also easily reachable by car! Besides the outdoor kitchen, feel free to help yourself to our raised garden beds! If you'd like fresh eggs from our chickens, that's no problem either – just let us know :)

A wonderful, quiet place in the middle of nature with great camping options – both by car and with a tent. Tents could even be rented on site. The facilities were very good: a clean toilet, easily accessible water, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The host was incredibly friendly, very helpful, and always quick to reach. I especially loved that he often anticipated things and provided them before you even had to ask. I spent a truly dreamy and wonderful night there, felt completely at home, and will definitely come back. Highly recommended! 🌿🏕️✨

The hosts were very friendly and uncomplicated. On the meadow next to the house, you are right by the lake, and there are free-roaming animals living on the property. There is a small washing facility and a fire pit. The site is in a very quiet location in the middle of nature, right on the edge of the forest. Great for a few relaxing hours or hikes.

Isa and Jochen are wonderful hosts. We felt warmly welcomed. If you're looking for nature and tranquility, this is the place to be. Standing right by the lake, observing and listening to the animals – we really enjoyed it. The fact that we could also pick herbs and vegetables from the raised beds and use the beach chair, thank you for the lovely design of the place!
