Wiese beim Schluchsee

Spacious, beautiful, and quiet pitches. It's only a 5-minute bike ride to Lake Schluchsee. The sanitary facilities at the neighboring campsite, which can be booked as an optional extra, are very clean. Sabine is a very nice host. I would love to come back.

We were here at the beginning of August 2026 and it was beautiful. The site is located on a meadow with a lovely view of the valley towards Schluchsee. Although it seems further away, it is only a 15 to 20-minute walk to the lido or the town center. Hiking, biking, or jogging in the forest is possible directly from the pitch. The size of the plots is remarkable. When we were there, Sabine only offered four spaces, even though she could easily accommodate eight motorhomes on the area. Right next door is the campsite with showers, washrooms, and trash cans – however, this is an optional service that campers must book separately. Sabine is very pragmatic about this and handles it on-site upon arrival or via chat on Nomady. What about the host? Superb. She is somehow always there without being intrusive. If she is needed outside, she comes out promptly. She responds to messages quickly and appreciatively.

Quiet, well-maintained pitch (15 min walk to Schluchsee). Very friendly and helpful regarding the additional offer to use the sanitary facilities (very clean).

Great location of the meadow. Superb welcome. Sabine is a fantastic host; she always checks in and is dedicated to making sure everyone is happy. We will definitely be back.

A warm welcome from Sabine. We were able to add the shower/laundry option at short notice. Beautiful, large pitch. Despite being fully booked due to the Lake Night Festival, it was still very quiet. We would love to come back.
