What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

Right in front of our open-air museum, you'll find Lake Schluchsee, offering stunning panoramic views along its length. In the background, the majestic Feldberg mountain rises. Directly opposite is the impressive dam wall. Please note, the museum itself will open in 2024, but there are some fantastic events planned for this summer! You can find more information at 3 Seenbahn. In both summer and winter, the museum train runs between Seebrugg and Titisee. All details are available on the 3 Seenbahn website. We are conveniently located near the B500, the scenic Black Forest High Road. While you might hear cars at night, you can still enjoy a peaceful evening and night with us. Seebrugg train station is home to just a few houses, ensuring a truly tranquil atmosphere. One of the absolute highlights is experiencing the breathtaking sundowner over Lake Schluchsee. The Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus (Rothaus State Brewery) is also nearby. We offer several pitches. During peak season, you won't be alone, but rather part of a vibrant community of campers. The ground consists of cleanly rolled and level forest mix. Pitches are marked with blue parking signs and are located between the coal merchant and the outdoor pool. Hallo liebe Camper, wir sind ein Freilichtmuseum das nächstes Jahr eröffnet. Mit unserer Lage direkt am Schluchsee im malerischen Hochschwarzwald. Vor unserem Museum gibt es Platz für Eure Wohnmobile mit direktem Blick auf den Schluchsee. Ihr habt Blick längt über den ganzen See mit dem Feldberg im Hintergrund. Direkt neben uns ist die Staumauer. Nicht weit entfernt ist die Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus. Wir freuen uns auf Euren Besuch. Liebe Grüße Jens

The Seebrugg outdoor pool is just 50 meters away, perfect for a refreshing dip! From 2024, the museum entrance will be conveniently located right next to the parking spaces, making your visit even easier.

Since the parking lot seemed too bleak to us and there weren't even any public toilets, we preferred to stay overnight at the nearby campsite – very green, very clean, and with great value for money.

The spot isn't particularly nice, but totally fine for one night. It would definitely be a huge plus if the pitch were described EXACTLY. It is confusing because the payment machines are on both sides of the street and there is also a 'no camping' sign. A phone number would also be useful.

Beautiful view over Lake Schluchsee...🌄 It's hard to tell where exactly you're allowed to park. That's why we just set up somewhere.

No signs indicating where to park, and the open-air museum doesn't seem to exist anymore (at least the wagons and locomotives are decaying). Someone probably forgot to remove the site from the registry and is still making a bit of money...

The site is actually very good, but at over 30°C it's also very hot, sometimes a bit busy with bus traffic, but nice and quiet in the evening. The pitches should have some sort of signage, as everyone is very unsure at first whether they are in the right place; the photos help to verify the location.

During the day, there is normal traffic from buses and the occasional car, pedestrian, or cyclist, but it's not bothersome. Very pleasantly quiet at night, would happily stay here again :-).
