Camping in the Black Forest

Wieseneckle am Bach mitten im Nationalpark

Germany-72270 Baiersbronn
Our meadow is idyllically nestled by a stream, just a stone's throw from the forest. At night, you might spot a fox passing by or hear an owl calling, and in the clear Black Forest air, you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the stars above. The pitch in the corner of the meadow (walk all the way across; you'll pass our other pitch first) is located about 200 meters from the main house. You are not completely alone in the wilderness, yet far enough away to enjoy total peace and privacy. Tucked away in the far corner, no one will walk past your tent. Plus, you have direct access to the stream! Further up on the meadow and diagonally across, we offer one or two additional tent pitches. These are spaced very far apart to ensure your privacy. Only the toilet hut is shared. Electricity for charging smartphones or e-bike batteries is available upon prior reservation. Water can be drawn from the stream (not certified drinking water, but good natural spring water), and on-site there is a separating dry toilet exclusively for our camping guests. For anyone who prefers not to refresh directly in the stream, a self-service solar shower bag hangs by the toilet hut: simply fill it from the stream, hang it in the sun, and enjoy warm water! The pitch is designed for a small tent and up to 2 people; for any other setup, please let us know in advance. At the main house, you will find (chilled) drinks, coffee/tea, and ice cream available on a self-service basis. Additionally, starting in May, you can pre-order fresh rolls from the local bakery for the next morning. Simply note your choices in the comments field when booking (Kaiser roll, poppy seed, sesame – hotel size, slightly smaller, all at €0.60 each; pretzel €1.30). You can place the exact cash amount in the honesty box at the main house upon arrival, and your rolls will be ready there the next morning. Important: orders must be placed 3 days in advance!

Idyllic little spot, everything went smoothly.
A quiet little spot by the stream. Wonderful.
I arrived late in the evening by bike and was briefly informed about what was on offer. The stand outside was stocked with drinking water and other beverages. There was also a selection of snacks and a bread roll service in the morning. The compost toilet was very clean. The campsite was idyllically located by a stream. For one night, I had everything I needed. I am happy to recommend this place…. 🙂👍👍
A truly idyllic spot and everything is very well-maintained, highly recommended.
It was wonderful, right by the little stream, with the sound of rushing water at night. Everything was clean and a lovely tent spot. Overall very friendly welcome with genuine interest in the guest! Would happily come again!
I had a very pleasant stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the little stream next to the tent makes it idyllic. It was easy to find and the communication with Patricia was very friendly. It is a lovely and pleasant place to stay.
