Our charming campsite is nestled behind the old field shed, on a meadow among the standard fruit trees, yet still close to our farm. You'll share facilities like showers/toilets, the fire pit, and the swimming pool – located approximately 30-60 meters away – with guests from the guesthouse, should there be any present. If you love grazing cows in the neighboring pasture and don't mind the occasional tractor passing by, then you've found the perfect spot with us, and you'll never be bored! The Wydhof is just 1 km from the Rhine and Thur rivers, offering numerous swimming and resting spots. The Thurauen Nature Center is the gateway to the largest floodplain conservation area in the Swiss Central Plateau and serves as a hub for all information about the protected area. We at Wydhof live and work right in the heart of it all, and we're delighted to share this natural and unique place with you.

Would love to give 6 stars, but it only goes up to 5. Absolutely fantastic place and fantastic hosts. Absolute peace, top sanitary facilities and amenities. Here the soul literally dangles under the apple trees.
My two nieces and I spent a wonderful autumn weekend at the Wydhof. Many heartfelt thanks for the delicious Zöpfli and for allowing us to visit you on the farm and enjoy the wonderful spot. The girls especially enjoyed the child-friendly infrastructure and the animals. The proximity to the Rhine and the Thurauen is of course also great. We felt absolutely at home. Many heartfelt thanks.

Super beautiful! Camping feeling with luxury sanitary facilities, fridge access, and warm hosts. A lovely spot with shade in the evening, places to relax in the shade during the day, and a nice cool-down in the pool. We'll be back! Thanks, Madeleine and family!
