Genießt die ruhige und ländliche Umgebung, geht Wandern oder Biken in den direkt anliegenden Wäldern. Zum Schwimmen und Paddeln empfehlen wir den Biggesee (ca. 10 km entfernt). Wer gerne klettert, kann sich an der "Borghauser Wand" im Lennetal bei Finnentrop austoben (ca. 3 km entfernt).  Eine Boulder-Halle befindet sich in ca. 5 km Entfernung. Außerdem gibt es in der Nähe (jeweils in Attendorn sowie in Finnentrop) einen Bike-Park.

Herrlich ruhig gelegen findet ihr unseren Zeltplatz am oberen Ende des malerischen Dörfchens Silbecke im Sauerland. Mit Sonne von früh bis spät könnt ihr hier die Seele baumeln lassen, unsere Kühe auf den umliegenden Weiden beobachten und euren Blick über das tolle Panorama schweifen lassen.

Überdachung/ Schoppen (siehe Fotos) in der Nähe kann (nur) nach Absprache genutzt werden, um Dinge abzustellen. Dort befindet sich auch ein Mülleimer.Wasserzugang nach Absprache auf dem Hof in direkter Nähe.

Die nächsten Supermärkte befinden sich in ca. 5 km Entfernung in Finnentrop-Bamenohl und Lennestadt-Grevenbrück. Dort gibt es auch Bäckereien und Restaurants (die teilweise auch auf Bestellung liefern). Im Nachbardorf Dünschede (2 km entfernt) gibt es außerdem eine sehr gute Metzgerei (mit 24h zugänglichem Verkaufsautomat).
