Moin! (That's 'hello' in Northern Germany!)... Welcome to our former horse farm, nestled in the heart of the North German 'outback'! This is the perfect place to truly unwind! :)
Are you coming...
...as a family?
Fantastic! We have (almost) everything a child's heart desires! You can romp, climb, explore the forest, make bonfires – whatever comes to mind! Thanks to our own children, everything is already child-friendly. Who knows, maybe new friendships will blossom...
...with a dog?
A warm welcome to your loyal family members! We offer everything a pet's heart desires, be it digging and rolling areas, secluded forest paths to explore, and plenty of shade for resting after long play sessions. Since we are far from busy roads, freedom for (well-behaved) animals is a top priority here! Please show some respect for our two loyal and friendly dogs, as not every dog gets along with every other dog. However, spatial separation is provided, so everyone can relax!
...for peace and nature?
This is where you'll get your money's worth! We offer a small biotope and wild flower meadows right on the farm! You can light a bonfire and use a grill, all while bidding goodnight to geese, foxes, and rabbits. Fishing permits can be purchased by arrangement for a nearby quarry lake. Various cycling and hiking routes, the expansive Emsland region, Thülsfelde with its animal park and reservoir, the Cloppenburg Museum Village, organic farms with regional products, as well as the cultural treasure of Artland with the historic town of Quakenbrück – all invite you to embark on discovery tours.
No matter who you are, we do our best to ensure you have a wonderful short break!
This includes:
- Private bathroom (shower, toilet)
- Private pitch (paved, gravel, or grass) with shade and electricity hook-up
- Well-maintained lawn for camping
- Garden shed (e.g., for rain)
- Fishing permits available online
- Hygiene & cleaning products, grilling utensils, etc.
Any questions? We are happy to help! :)
