The town of Schöneck levies a tourist tax and has fully digitized its collection process, meaning accommodations can no longer directly collect this fee from guests. To ensure a seamless experience for visitors, WELCMpass has been introduced. Payment and guest bonus utilization are conveniently managed digitally via smartphone. The tourist tax is 2.00 Euros per adult per day of stay, and for children/teenagers aged 6-18, it's 1.00 Euro per day of stay. Arrival and departure days are counted together as one day according to the Schöneck tourist tax regulations.
