Welcome to our idyllically located pitch, "Railway Meets Countryside Romance"!
Do you love to marvel at trains? Enjoy watching sheep or simply soak in magnificent sunsets? Admire horses galloping freely across the paddock?
Fresh eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast? Hear the tractor in the field or just sit back and experience the exciting trains between Treuchtlingen and Gunzenhausen? Then you've come to the right place!
Bringing children along? Absolutely welcome! Our large, natural meadow invites them to romp, play, and explore.
From Easter onwards, you'll find sheep, a cat, and several chickens and rabbits here. Horses graze in the adjacent paddock.
Our pitch is located behind our farm, offering wonderful views and fantastic evening sun. From April to November, you can park directly next to the inhabited sheep pasture. Prefer to be near the railway or by the wheat field? No problem, you're welcome to choose your spot with us.
We are happy to offer you fresh chicken eggs. Just ask us!
You'll find us in the beautiful Franconian Lake District, approximately 50km southwest of Nuremberg/Middle Franconia. From here, you can wonderfully explore Altmühlsee, the small and large Brombachsee, or even Rothsee and Igelsbachsee. The paths here are perfect for extended bike tours or just a short exploratory ride. In summer, the lakes offer a welcome cool-down.
Distance to the bike path directly on the Altmühl: 300 meters
Distance to Altmühlsee: 4km
Distance to small Brombachsee: 10km
Distance to large Brombachsee: 15km
Distance to Gunzenhausen: 1 km (groceries, etc.)
The towns of Weißenburg, Treuchtlingen, and Ansbach also invite you to linger and stroll.
Any vehicle, of any size, is welcome to park with us. Grilling with a gas grill is also no problem. However, as we are very rural, we kindly ask you to refrain from using charcoal.
