Yurta Volpina and Yurta Cinghialotto are nestled amidst our farm's orchard, offering you a unique sense of space, views of the Ticino sky, and proximity to our animals in the mountains and valleys. The location is surrounded by nature at 750m altitude, within a farm, ideal for families, couples, and nature lovers. Right next to the yurts, there's a barbecue and several seating areas. On our farm, you'll find shared bathrooms and kitchens nearby. Arrival via Rasa, luggage transport with our private cable car from Sassalto. ⚠️ Important: Closure of the Rasa–Verdasio cable car Unfortunately, the Rasa–Verdasio cable car will be closed from January until the end of summer 2026 for complete renovation. During this period, the cable car cannot be used. However, we still guarantee luggage transport and, upon request, can also arrange cable car rides for our guests via our private cable car, which leads directly to our farm. Arrival and departure are free of charge. Each additional ride will be charged at 20 CHF. Arrival by car If you arrive by car, you can load your luggage into our private cable car in Sassalto (between Corcapolo and Verdasio, a red cable car on the left-hand side, about 1 km downhill from Verdasio station). We will transport your luggage directly to your accommodation. Arrival by train If you arrive by train, we can pick you up in Corcapolo or Verdasio and, along with your luggage, take you to Corte with our private cable car. Your luggage will be forwarded directly to your accommodation. Arrival on foot For guests arriving on foot from Bordei, there is a hiking trail of about 3 km via Rasa to Corte (approx. 1½ hours walking time). It is also possible to reach Corte di Sotto on foot from Corcapolo (approx. 1½ hours walking time). The yurts are located on our farm, Corte di Sotto.
