A typical Ticinese Rustico at 1000 meters above sea level with a beautiful view of the Centovalli mountains, a stone's throw from the mountain village of Rasa. Enjoy pure nature, hiking, relaxation, wellness, an experience with limited electricity and hot water. You will find 2 huts here with beds for 10 people, a bathroom, sauna, a former cheese cauldron (hot tub) for a warm outdoor bath, a rustic kitchen with gas and wood stove, refrigerator, and fireplace. In the surroundings, you will find wonderful hiking trails, and Rasa is only 1 km away. ⚠️ Important: Rasa–Verdasio Cable Car Closure Unfortunately, the Rasa–Verdasio cable car will be closed from January until the end of summer 2026 for complete renovation. During this period, the cable car cannot be used. However, we still guarantee luggage transport and can, upon request, organize cable car rides for our guests via our private cable car, which leads directly to our farm. Arrival and departure are free of charge. Each additional ride will be charged 20 CHF. For any further details or logistical questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Arrival by Car If you arrive by car, you can load your luggage into our private cable car in Sassalto (between Corcapolo and Verdasio, a red cable car on the left-hand side, about 1 km downhill from Verdasio train station). We will transport your luggage directly to your accommodation. Arrival by Train If you arrive by train, we can pick you up in Corcapolo or Verdasio and, along with your luggage, take you to Corte with our private cable car. Your luggage will be forwarded directly to your accommodation. Arrival from Bordei or Corcapolo For guests coming on foot from Bordei, there is a hiking trail of approx. 3 km to Monti (approx. 1 hour walking time). It is also possible to reach Corte di Sotto on foot from Corcapolo (1½ hours walking time). From Corte di Sotto, it takes about 45 minutes on foot to reach the holiday cottages in Monti.
