Aire Naturelle "Liberta" Savaggio - Montagne

We stayed there with a tent ⛺ in June 2026 and found our own little paradise. You can go on wonderful hikes in the beautiful surroundings, and even reach the GR 20 long-distance trail. The train stops nearby, making trips to places like Corte possible even without a car. And that train route is quite an experience. Thanks to the lovely hosts! Grit & Matthias

Friendly host, absolute haven of peace, spent two nights there completely alone. Great starting point for our hike to the Bergerie de Tolla. For our 6 m campervan, the exit was tricky but manageable.

Great spot in the middle of nature, an ideal starting point for hikes. Very good communication and support. We'd love to come back!

For us, this place was a little piece of paradise in the middle of the mountains. We felt very much at home and had everything we needed: plenty of space for our tent and gear, a hot shower, a flush toilet, small shops nearby, and drinking water from a mountain fountain. Gert and Dörte gave us wonderful tips for the island and welcomed us very warmly. Very attentive, heartfelt hosts!

We received a very warm welcome from Gerd and immediately felt right at home. The meadow is a wonderful, peaceful spot. In summer, the adjacent stream is great for kids to play in. The toilet, shower, washbasin, and dishwashing sink are simple and well-maintained. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking. After about a 20-minute walk, you reach the Tattone train station – the gateway to other parts of the island. The train ride through the impressive panoramic scenery is definitely worth it. On our last evening, we had wood-fired pizza with Gerd next to the train station. Thank you so much for the wonderful time and the great hospitality ☺️ We would love to come back.

Very nice people, we were wonderfully welcomed. The pitches are large. We had plenty of space with our VW van with roof tent and awning. The sanitary facilities are very clean. You have everything you need on-site. Plenty of hiking opportunities. And a train connection very close by. We had a great stay and would gladly come back. Best regards, Flo and Tessi
