Ruhige Location mitten im grünen. Das Restaurant und Kinderspielplatz sind auf der andern Seite und vom Stellplatz her nicht hörbar. Hat 2 Stellplätze Ideal für eine grössere Gruppe/Familie. mehrere Toiletten im Haupthaus/Restaurant, keine Duschen. Strom kann bestellt werden, auch Feuerholz ist vor Ort und kann günstig gekauft werden, Feuerschale steht zur Verfügung

Our weekend at Alp Altschwand with Bianca, Felix & family was top-notch. They are very accommodating hosts; we were not only allowed to use the toilets in the house/restaurant but also to wash our dishes in the restaurant kitchen. We bought meat, bread, and beer directly from the tavern, and for a small fee, we got a large wheelbarrow full of firewood. The three children made great use of the playground. The site is in a quiet location, and a large table with benches, as well as a fire pit and grill grate, are available. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

The view and the spot are very beautiful. We had it all to ourselves. There's hardly any shade. Only in the morning does the barn provide a little shade. Since it wasn't too hot that weekend, it wasn't a problem for us. Anyone who understands Swiss German has a clear advantage ;-) We had a great time.

Sehr, sehr schöner Platz. Abgelegen mit toller Aussicht. Gastgeber sind da, wenn man was braucht, aber sonst darf man hier wirklich wie alleine sein. Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Ein schöner Stellplatz mit Feuerschale direkt neben der Weide und Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Ein toller Spielplatz und sehr freundliche Gastgeber!

We had a rather strange and disappointing experience during our stay. From the beginning, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and I couldn’t help but wonder whether it was because we're from Zurich, because I'm a foreigner, or perhaps both. On the first day, while waiting at the Spielplatz with my daughter for the other camper family to arrive, I had a beer and she had an Apfelschorle—just a casual, relaxed moment. When the other family showed up, my daughter was excited to see other children and we ran over to greet them, forgetting our drinks at the playground. Later that evening, while we were sitting around the fire, the owner approached me quite aggressively, shoved the drinks into my hand, and said sternly in German, "I tell you only one time," before walking away. I went over to speak with him calmly and asked what the issue was and why he seemed so upset, but he simply said, “That’s just how I am.” When we left, I tried to say goodbye, but the owner’s wife gave us a very disinterested and cold farewell. All in all, they didn’t come across as particularly suited to hospitality. That said, the campsite itself was lovely. The plot felt secluded despite being near the farmhouse, the views were beautiful, and our children had a great time at the Spielplatz.
