The view is fabulous. The toilet and shower are great. The access road takes a bit of courage. The wasps, which were enjoying the pears lying around, were a bit bothersome.
Outstanding pitch; Martina and her family are very accommodating.
You have a great view and the entire place to yourself. We stayed for 3 days and went on daily excursions before driving back up.

° Access with a T6 is perfectly fine. Likely okay for Sprinter-sized vehicles too. Traditional motorhomes will find it more difficult.
We were thrilled even on our third visit. Plenty of space, great views of Lake Walen and the mountains, and excellent facilities including fresh water, a fire pit, seating, and a fantastic bathroom. Thank you ☺️
Exceptional location and view of the lake and mountains. It really feels magical to stay there. The river just nearby adds another touch, and we even saw wild deer wandering near our camp twice. The facilities provided are also great. A memorable experience.
