Unwind and join us in the Tecklenburger Land! Nestled among the trees of our orchard, separated only by a dike from the Mittelland Canal, you'll discover our charming circus wagon. Surrounded by nature, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, wave to deer and squirrels, or simply let your soul dangle. On a sunny day, a dip in the Mittelland Canal is a must! Or why not bring your SUP, inflatable boat, or canoe? Our completely self-sufficient and insulated circus wagon is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, self-produced green electricity, running cold water, a fast kettle, coffee and tea making facilities, an induction hob, a fridge, a fireplace, crockery, washing-up liquid, and much more. Bed linen and towels are also provided, though you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer. A regularly cleaned dry composting toilet is located next to the wagon. In summer, you have the option to book a shower tent. You can also get a fire bowl, swivel grill, and firewood from us for a donation. This is pure glamping! From our farm, you can start hiking immediately – hiking trails are right on your doorstep. The premium hiking trails of the Teutoschleifen and the extensive network of trails in the beautiful Tecklenburger Land beckon. Endless bike tours through meadows, fields, and forests, or a detour to the nearby Marina Recke and the Waldfreibad (forest outdoor pool), the climbing areas in the vicinity (e.g., Dörenther Klippen), an evening glass of red wine directly by the canal, on the cozy seating area among the fruit trees, or on your own balcony at the circus wagon with a view of passing ships – these are the simple yet wonderful pleasures your stay with us offers. And if the weather turns bad, simply head to the nearby Schwefelbad Steinbeck with its sauna park and indoor/outdoor pools. We're happy to provide further excursion tips, maps, and a guest folder with information. Here, you'll hear the owl hoot at night, the woodpecker tapping during the day, and sometimes curious deer will appear outside your window in the morning. Thanks to the large bird sanctuary at the nearby Heiliges Meer, our garden is a playground for all sorts of bird species. We keep a colorful flock of chickens and lovingly run a small farm apiary. You can watch the busy bees from your window. Our farm-produced organic eggs, honey, and fruit from our garden are available for purchase seasonally. Despite our natural setting, bakeries and village shops are very close – you can reach them on foot or by bike in just a few minutes. On weekends, you can also (almost always) take advantage of our bread roll service. Osnabrück, Lingen, and Rheine are just a 30-minute drive away. Upon request and subject to availability, we offer relaxing yoga sessions and immersive sound journeys (gongs, antique and crystal singing bowls, and many other delightful instruments) with our certified in-house yoga teacher. Highlights: Yoga sessions on request, sound relaxation on request, farm-produced products, bread roll service on weekends. We donate 1 Euro per overnight stay to NABU.
