Moin! ... and welcome to our former horse farm in beautiful rural Lower Saxony! This is the perfect place to truly unwind! :) Are you visiting... as a family? Great! We have (almost) everything a child's heart desires! You can run around, climb, explore the forest, build campfires – whatever comes to mind! Thanks to our own children, everything is already child-friendly. Who knows, maybe new friendships will blossom! ... with a dog? A warm welcome to your loyal family members! We offer everything a pet's heart desires, from areas for digging and rolling to secluded forest paths for exploring and plenty of shade for resting after long play sessions. Since we are in a remote location without major roads, freedom for animals is a top priority here! Please bring a certain level of respect towards our two dogs, as not every dog has to get along with everyone. However, spatial separation is provided so that everyone can find their peace! ... for rest and nature? We offer a small biotope, a fishing pond, wildflower meadows, and a BBQ area! Various cycling and hiking routes, the expansive Emsland, the Cloppenburg Museum Village, and the cultural treasures of Artland all invite you on journeys of discovery. No matter who you are: we do our best to make a great vacation possible for you! This includes: - private bathroom (shower, toilet) - private paved, gravel, or grass pitch with electricity - well-maintained lawn - fishing permits available online - hygiene & laundry detergents, BBQ utensils, etc. Any questions? Moin! Wir sind Olli und Marleen :) mit unseren 4 Kindern und 2 Hunden heißen wir euch herzlich willkommen auf unserem elterlichen Hof inmitten des wundervollen Artlands in Norddeutschland! Nachdem wir die Pferdewirtschaft vor Jahren aufgegeben haben, möchten wir unser Zuhause nun mit Menschen teilen, die die Natur und Landluft genauso schätzen wie wir - sie ist doch das gesündeste und natürlichste für den Menschen! Wir lieben rares, altes und besonderes, und auch ihr habt vielleicht die Möglichkeit, einen Blick auf ein paar unserer Schätzchen zu werfen ;) Wir lieben es, uns mit euch auszutauschen, sofern ihr auch möchtet. Here, water takes many forms for your enjoyment: a small biotope for observing wildlife, a gravel pit lake perfect for fishing, your own private lockable bathroom with hot water and 24/7 access from the courtyard side (parking and tent pitches are in the backyard), and fresh water access via a hose to your pitch. A BBQ, firewood, and charcoal are available for purchase. A large, rustic garden shed, our playground equipment, and garden furniture can be used by arrangement! Mobile phone reception is adequate, given our natural setting, but we still prefer good old-fashioned analog communication here ;) Electricity can be supplied via cable or socket. Fishing permits for the nearby gravel pit lake can be purchased online through the local fishing club. And if all that isn't enough: we're always happy to chat and find a solution for anything you need! :)

You can cancel up to 3 days before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Rules

The guest area is thoughtfully separated from the owner's private residence by charming courtyard gates and lush hedges, ensuring your privacy. This clear distinction will be highlighted with signage and a brief tour upon your arrival. Access to the owner's private areas, including stables and rooms adjacent to your rental, is by prior arrangement only, respecting everyone's space.

Please be aware that the biotope, the adjacent road, any power cables for mobile homes, and the earth mound on the property are marked as hazardous areas with signs and by their nature. Entry into and use of these areas is prohibited, and approaching them is at your own risk. Children must be informed of these dangers by adults and supervised while playing.

Open fires of any kind (including smoking) are only permitted in designated areas. Caution is always advised, as sparks and summer dryness always pose a certain risk. Fire extinguishers are readily available.

We kindly ask for respectful and careful handling of all provided items, especially the play equipment, garden furniture, and green areas. Disturbing or provoking wild and domestic animals is strictly prohibited, including by your own pets and children. Should any issues arise in this regard, we reserve the right to enforce a leash requirement or even expulsion from the premises out of respect for nature, even outside of statutory leash laws for dogs.

The rented parking space and all other areas used must be left in the same condition as they were found. This particularly includes the removal of rubbish, dog waste, and any other dirt or mess. Cleaning aids can be provided upon request.

We kindly ask that you treat other guests on the property with respect and consideration. We expect mature behavior, but are also happy to offer alternatives should any issues arise. Please observe the usual quiet hours. Deliberate damage to landscaping or other property will not be tolerated.

The local farm shops are easily accessible by bike, perfect for picking up fresh produce! For everything else, the larger towns of Menslage, Löningen, and Quakenbrück are less than a 10-minute drive away. There you'll find all the essentials and more, from supermarkets and pharmacies to doctors, cinemas, and theaters. We highly recommend checking out the Friday weekly market in Quakenbrück for a true local experience!

We're happy to provide you with information on hiking and cycling routes, as well as cultural highlights of the nearby Artland region, either upon your arrival or in advance! Quakenbrück (approx. 8km) is a historic town and definitely worth a short trip! On the Hase river, you can enjoy canoeing and kayaking, or simply spend a few lovely hours by the weir. Thüle Zoo (great for kids) and Thülsfelder Talsperre reservoir are just a half-hour drive away. The attractive Emsland region, with its swimming lakes and natural landscapes, is also quickly accessible by car. But even right here, you won't miss out, especially if you appreciate regional products, organic farms, and farm shops! Authentic agriculture is truly alive here :) You'll find supermarkets and other amenities like pharmacies in Quakenbrück and Löningen (each 8-10km away), but you can also get essentials in Menslage (approx. 6km). And for anything else: feel free to contact us if you have specific questions!

Marleen and Oliver are excellent hosts. We, and especially the children, were made to feel very welcome. We felt right at home. The farm is in a very secluded and quiet location. We had plenty of space to ourselves.
