Lindigshof Getaway - We'd love to share this beautiful spot on Earth with you and offer our orchard for your very own personal escape. From our meadow, you'll enjoy completely unobstructed views across fields to the nearby forest. Our farm is nestled in a small, idyllic village in the beautiful Wartburgkreis region of Thuringia. We are located directly on the Werra-Suhltal cycle path, with a connection to the Werratal cycle path. The Ettenhausen dam is just diagonally opposite the property, a mere five-minute walk away. Bad Salzungen, the Merkers mine, and the city of Eisenach with Wartburg Castle are all nearby and invite you to visit. The Rennsteig hiking and cycling trail is also in the immediate vicinity. For cozy evenings, a large fire pit is available, and a morning bread roll service is possible by arrangement. A barbecue can also be provided. In our laundry room, we offer two new bathrooms with shower and toilet, and a facility for washing dishes. Our comfortable wooden terrace invites you to linger and is available to our guests. Guests arriving by bicycle will receive a table and chairs, and gladly, necessary dishes for their stay. Bicycles can be stored securely. Shopping facilities for daily needs can be found 2.5 km away. On-site, we have an ice cream freezer from the Eisenach manufacturer Zucker & Zimt (organic, vegan) and a refrigerator with cold drinks.
