Our camp stands out for its peaceful location and excellent amenities! In our adjacent communal building, you'll find toilets, showers, a simple kitchen, and a cozy terrace, all available for your use. For cooler evenings or inclement weather, you can light the fireplace in our large "Saddle Room," which also serves as a common room. On warm summer evenings, our campfire pit beckons. We offer homemade eggs, sausages, jam, and honey from our own production. The Eichsfeld region boasts unique natural beauty, perfect for hiking and cycling. A cycling path starts directly at the campsite, and hiking trails are quickly accessible! Within the immediate vicinity (approx. 20 km), you'll discover picturesque lakes and the unique half-timbered town of Duderstadt. The legendary Sonnenstein with its Skywalk offers an unforgettable view of the Eichsfeld landscape.

Hallo! Wir sind Katrin und Siegfried Bernd und leben hier im Eichsfeld auf unserem abgelegen Grundstück mit unseren Söhnen Robert und Wenzel! Neben unserem Wohnhaus haben wir noch unser Gästehaus und einen schönen Bereich der alle Annehmlichkeiten für Camper etc. bietet! Unser Hobby ist eine kleinrahmige Landwirtschaft mit Bienen,Hühnern, Rindern und Pferden! Die Pferde sind Quarterhorses die auf Turnieren und in der Freizeit genutzt werden! Kurzum sind sind wir sehr naturverbunden und tierlieb und freuen uns auf euren Besuch bei uns!

Our camp is dog-friendly, but please be aware that we have two dogs ourselves, so we ask that your furry friends are well-behaved. We kindly request that you avoid excessive noise after 10:30 PM. My son and I felt very comfortable at Katrin and Siegfried's place. It is an idyllic spot in an absolutely quiet location with nearby, very clean sanitary facilities and a drinking water supply. Firewood was perfect and available in sufficient quantities. The village of Bischofferode is easily accessible on foot. The usability of the on-site shelter is also perfect, providing shade and protection from rain. It's a cozy place to cook. I can unreservedly recommend 'Siegfriederode' (insider tip)—anyone who has been there knows what I mean.

It was really lovely at this site. The hosts were super accommodating 😊😇 We really enjoyed the peace and quiet 😍. The hikes starting from this location were great. We had electricity and a roof over our heads when it rained, as we were allowed to use the barn 😅 They currently have puppies, which made the day even sweeter 😍 The bathroom was also top-notch. The water pressure could have been a bit stronger and it could have warmed up a bit faster 😂 but those are purely luxury problems. We would love to come back 😊

The view of the Brocken, the absolute peace and quiet, the Western flair, and the lovely conversations with the hostess made our stay truly special. As for whether the jar of homemade Longhorn blood sausage we bought will taste good, we have yet to find out.
