Dear Campers, Dear Getaway Seekers, Dear Nature Lovers, here comes the 'Swiss Army Knife' for all campers! A mountain island surrounded by the Filstal valley, that's our home and your next excursion destination. Still partly undiscovered, many small rock outcrops adorn the 'Löwenpfad Felsenrunde' (Lion's Path Rock Round) in our small district of Oberböhringen, which belongs to Bad Überkingen. Whether you prefer a tent pitch, a parking spot, a small air mattress, or an XXL camper – we offer the …

We stayed there from Monday to Friday with our dog and cat to relax. It is a beautiful, nature-oriented property that offers a lot of peace and relaxation. Betty was very kind and helped us with wood to level the caravan, and her open, friendly manner made us feel right at home. A beautiful little spot on earth that we would love to visit again.
Grassy ground, stable despite heavy rain on the day of arrival and also on the previous days. No camper likes the slope on the grassy section. Since we are newcomers, we have no comparison and therefore haven't rated it too highly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days of absolute peace and seclusion at Betty's place. She wasn't there herself, but her mother gave us a very warm welcome, showed us the available pitches, and was always helpful and happy to provide information whenever we had questions. One thing worth mentioning is that it's highly advisable to bring leveling ramps, as some areas are quite uneven. It would be great if there were a key for the toilet. We coordinated with the others who were staying on-site longer and locked the door to the entire annex when necessary. You just feel more comfortable knowing a stranger won't suddenly walk into the bathroom. All in all, absolutely recommended! We will definitely be back.
On this hot weekend, we had a large, shady, and very quiet spot with a fire pit all to ourselves. Being able to use a bathroom and a kitchen was an unusual luxury for us. The starting point of a great circular hike was also right next to our pitch, allowing us to enjoy many fantastic views of the valleys below. Unfortunately, we didn't meet Betty and Olli as they were on vacation themselves. No dogs came to greet us either, and the suggestion to call in such a case failed because no phone number was provided. The car horn turned out to be a suitable means of communication, and we were eventually greeted and shown around very warmly by Conny.
Super lovely hosts, lots of space & peace and quiet 😊👍🏻
Such a lovingly and helpfully run campsite. Right in the middle of nature, with open, truly spacious pitches offering shade from trees or sun (or both) – depending on what you prefer. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, and there is even a small kitchen for washing up. The family running it is so nice that we stayed for a few extra days. Highly, highly recommended!
