Sie wachen über ein verstecktes Refugium, Zwillingsbäume, Walnüsse am Fuße des Ghiridone, wo der Berg tiefen Atem hat und der Wald zur Wildnis wird. Hier, im Waldreservat Palagnedra, in Boladee – dem geheimen Herzen des Centovalli – verlangsamt sich die Zeit, die Erde singt.

Tagsüber hört man den Flug der Falken, Eichelhäher und Schwalben; in der Dämmerung den Ruf der Rehe, die auf den Feldern grasen; nachts erhellen Eulen, Grillen und Glühwürmchen die Dunkelheit wie in einem Märchen aus vergangenen Tagen, während morgens das Ticken des Spechts ertönt. Die Wasserfälle hallen nicht weit entfernt und tragen die Stimme des Rii della Serra bis in den Schlaf. Der Frühling ist perfekt, der Sommer ist kühl, der Herbst ist eine Flamme aus Blättern, der Winter ist weiß.

Kein Campingplatz, sondern ein Camp mitten in der Natur, abgelegen und intim, wild aber sicher.
Über 200 Kilometer Wanderwege beginnen hier, aber der erste Schritt liegt schon ganz woanders.

Der Aufenthaltsbereich enthält 2 Stühle, 1 Tisch, 1 Solarleuchte und eine Campingtoilette, die im Freien aufgestellt werden kann (mit Sägemehl zum Abdecken, Ersatzbeuteln, Desinfektionsspray und Toilettenpapier); ein Pop-Up-Zelt für die Privatsphäre der Toilette und/oder der Dusche (ein 20-Liter-Sack, der in der Sonne erwärmt werden kann). Außerdem gibt es einen Mini-Grill, der nach draußen gestellt werden kann. Beide Zelte haben schöne Fenster: 2 kleine und 1 große mit einem festen Moskitonetz; die gesamte Wand zur Waldseite kann geöffnet werden. Der Schlafbereich ist mit zwei Matratzen, Doppelbettkissen und einem Matratzenbezug ausgestattet (der alle paar Tage gewechselt und gewaschen wird). Es ist verpflichtend, seinen eigenen Schlafsack mitzubringen! (Wenn Sie Ihren nicht mitbringen, können wir einen oder zwei für je 5.- mieten.)

Das Vorhängeschloss dient als Abschreckung, aber es ist immer besser, keine Wertgegenstände im Zelt zu lassen. Wir sind uns sicher, dass es offensichtlich ist, aber es ist immer eine gute Idee, die Schuhe auszuziehen, bevor man das Zelt betritt, sie abzuschütteln und sie nah am Eingang (innen) abzustellen. In den Bergen mangelt es nicht an Insekten: Offene Öffnungen ohne Fliegengitter sind eine Einladung für sie, einzutreten. Die Toilette kann verschoben werden; stelle sicher, dass nachdem du sie geöffnet hast, der Müllsack richtig positioniert ist. Erledige deine Notdurft, wirf das benutzte Papier in den Sack und decke es mit Sägemehl zu, dann schließe den Deckel wieder. Wenn der Sack voll ist, wird er entfernt und wie alle anderen Abfälle entsorgt. Füttere keine Wildtiere. Die Wasserbehälter, die Dusche und die Eimer müssen vor dem Verlassen des Lagers vollständig entleert werden. Zünde kein Feuer in der Nähe des Waldes an (nur im dafür vorgesehenen Grillbereich). Die Zelte sollten sauber und ordentlich hinterlassen werden, wie sie gefunden wurden: Danke!

Da es etwas abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade liegt, ist die Versorgung nicht immer ganz einfach. Es gibt eine gemütliche Taverne unten im Dorf (ein angenehmer 10-15-minütiger Spaziergang) und einen Selbstbedienungsladen in den Bergen, der lokale Köstlichkeiten wie Käse, Salami und Eier anbietet. Für eine größere Auswahl finden Sie in Bordei einen weiteren gut sortierten Selbstbedienungsladen (mit wichtigen Dingen wie Öl, Milch, Mehl, Reis, Getreide, Softdrinks und vielem mehr). Dieser Ort ist nicht nur für Familien, sondern auch für Eltern mit Kindern ideal, da das Dorf einen fantastischen Spielplatz mit Feuerstelle und weiteren wunderbaren Einrichtungen bietet.

Es gibt nicht weniger als 200 km Wanderwege, die zu majestätischen Gipfeln, charmanten Dörfern, Wasserfällen mit erfrischenden Badestellen, einer Kirche aus dem 18. Jahrhundert mit Fresken von Antonio da Tradate, seltenen Zugvögeln, dem imposanten Röhren der Hirsche, einem wunderschönen und fischreichen Stausee sowie Begegnungen mit Füchsen und Rehen führen.
