Yurta Volpina and Yurta Cinghialotto are nestled in our farm’s orchard, offering a unique sense of space, breathtaking views of the Ticino sky, and close proximity to our animals amidst the mountains and valleys. Set in the heart of nature at 750 meters above sea level on a working farm, this is the perfect getaway for families, couples, and nature lovers. Right next to the yurts, you'll find a barbecue area and multiple seating options. Shared bathrooms and kitchens are conveniently located nearby on our farm. Arrival via Rasa, with luggage transport provided by our private cable car from Sassalto. ⚠️ Important: Closure of the Rasa–Verdasio cable car Please note that the Rasa–Verdasio cable car is closed from January until the end of summer 2026 for a complete renovation. During this period, the public cable car cannot be used. However, we continue to guarantee luggage transport and can also arrange rides for our guests on our private cable car, which leads directly to our farm. Arrival and departure rides are free of charge. Any additional ride will be charged at CHF 20. Arriving by car If you arrive by car, you can load your luggage onto our private cable car in Sassalto (located between Corcapolo and Verdasio, a red cable car on the left side, about 1 km down the valley from the Verdasio train station). We will transport your luggage directly to your accommodation. Arriving by train If you arrive by train, we can pick you up in Corcapolo or Verdasio and take you and your luggage to Corte using our private cable car. Your luggage will be brought directly to your accommodation. Arriving on foot For guests arriving on foot from Bordei, a hiking trail of approx. 3 km leads via Rasa to Corte (about 1.5 hours' walk). It is also possible to reach Corte di Sotto on foot from Corcapolo (about 1.5 hours' walk). The yurts are located on our Corte di Sotto farm.
