Surrounded by nature on the edge of the forest, right next to a quiet, low-traffic road and about 300 meters from the Höllhof with its fantastic view of Lake Lucerne and a majestic mountain landscape, you have the opportunity to stay overnight or spend several days. The pitch surface is gravel. It is the perfect base for day trips to Lucerne, Mount Pilatus, the Glasi Hergiswil glassworks, and many other wonderful destinations. The nearest bus stop is a 30-minute walk away. Hiking and biking trails start right by the pitch and throughout the surrounding area. A toilet and a shower are available for your use at the Höllhof (approx. 300 meters away), shared with other guests of the Höllhof. The pitch is also ideal if you are just passing through, as the motorway access is only a few minutes away. The last 1.5 kilometers are along a narrow, single-lane road with passing places. We didn't get to see Denise in person, but we still communicated nicely via chat. The sanitary facilities are okay. The pitch doesn't have much charm, but the hiking area at the foot of Mount Pilatus is magnificent.

This place room me an hour and a half of driving up and down a mountain and knocking on farmers doors to eventually find a scruffy layby on the side of the road. The signposting is abysmal and I never got the detailed instructions on how to get there. I'm giving it two stars because of the spectacular views in the morning.

Wonderfully quiet and idyllic spot in the middle of nature, yet within easy reach of the lake and the city. Very beautiful walking and hiking opportunities with breathtaking views just a few steps away from the camp.

The pitch is quiet and the campfire spot is lovely – perfect for a night with a rooftop tent. Unfortunately, the shower and toilet were not clean and there were a lot of small insects. It's a shame, because the place actually has potential.

All amenities are clean and great. Private spot between the trees and in the shade which is great and well hidden. Fresh eggs available in the morning which is fantastic (we had 5 double yolks out of 6!)

A cluttered, sloping site where it was impossible to level the motorhome even with standard chocks. Furthermore, the site is designed too small for motorhomes over 5m, otherwise you end up sitting right on the road, which is busy with tractors, cars, pedestrians, and joggers until about 8 PM. The road leads to a hotel above the parking area. Unfortunately, the view of Lake Lucerne is more than just a few meters away. A pity! We had hoped for more.
