Discover our charming self-catering alpine hut nestled in the Styrian Zirbenland! Enjoy absolute seclusion, yet with excellent accessibility, just a stone's throw from the asphalt road. Inside the hut, you'll find lighting and a radio, plus a cool box powered by photovoltaic (12V) or a 230V inverter for small devices (e.g., chargers). Should the power ever run out, battery lamps are available. A cozy corner bench, a single bed, a sink, a gas stove, and a wood-burning oven are standard features. An additional mattress for a second person and/or an air bed for two more can be set up. The corner bench can also accommodate one person for sleeping. This hut is perfect for longer stays for couples with 1-2 children, or with a pet. For anything beyond that, I'd only recommend a short stay, as space becomes quite cozy for living, eating, and sleeping. A sleeping tent for additional guests can be pitched outside the hut and can either be brought by you or provided by me for a fee. Outside, you'll find a camping toilet, washing facilities at the trough, a fire pit, a sun lounger, a parasol, and garden furniture. For multi-day stays, I recommend male guests to urinate in nature to ensure the WC tank capacity lasts for the entire duration. Drinking water is provided in a canister. Additionally, there's a separate parking or camping spot available for booking via nomady!

Drinking water is provided in a canister. The water at the trough is not drinking water! If the drinking water runs out, there's a public restroom near the church where you can refill it. The hut's amenities (cups, dishes, cutlery) are available for your use. Pillows, towels, and blankets are provided in the hut. Firewood is also supplied. For food storage, a 12V cooler is available. I recommend adding a few ice packs to enhance cooling performance or in case the solar power from the battery runs out. Electricity is available "while supplies last"! Please use electricity sparingly, as the batteries are charged solely by photovoltaics. There's a charge level indicator in the hut.

In St. Wolfgang, you'll find a fantastic restaurant (Seetalblick) and a charming café, both within easy walking distance from the cabin. Additional dining options are just a few minutes' drive away. For your convenience, supermarkets, a bank, bakery, pharmacy, and more are located in nearby Obdach, only a 5-minute drive.

Feine Almhütte in Alleinlage

Wir haben eine kleine Selbstversorger-Almhütte im steirischen Zirbenland.Alleinlage, jedoch sehr gut erreichbar, nur unweit der Asphaltstraße.In der Hütte gibt es Licht und Radio, sowie eine Kühlbox über Photovoltaik (12V) bzw. Wechselrichter 230V für kleine Geräte (z.B. Ladegeräte).Sollte der Strom mal ausgehen, gibt es Batterielampen in der Hütte.Eine Eckbank, Einzelbett, Waschbecken, Gas- Herd und Holz-Ofen sind fixer Bestandteil, eine zusätzliche Matratze für eine zweite Person und/oder ein Luftbett für weitere zwei Personen kann zusätzlich aufgestellt werden.Auch auf der Eckbank kann eine Person schlafen.Die Hütte eignet sich für längere Aufenthalte zu zweit mit einem Kind, oder Haustier. Alles was über 3 Personen hinausgeht, würde ich nur für einen Kurzaufenthalt empfehlen, da man dann wirklich auf engstem Raum wohnt, isst und schläft. Ein Schlaf-Zelt für weitere Personen könnte vor der Hütte aufgestellt werden und ist entweder selbst mitzubringen oder gegen Gebühr von mir bereitgestellt. Außen findest du ein Camping-WC, eine Feuerschale, Liegestuhl, Sonnenschirm und Gartenmöbel.Trinkwasser wird in einem Kanister bereitgestellt.
Die Ausstattung der Hütte ist etwas für Selbstversorger, bietet aber alles was man braucht.

Im Winter gefriert die Flüssigkeit im Camping-WC und es darf nur für die kleine Not verwendet werden.Für das große „Geschäft“ ist das öffentliche WC am Kirchplatz zu benützen! Bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalten empfehle ich den männlichen Gästen in die Natur zu urinieren, damit die Kapazität des WC-Tanks für die gesamte Aufenthaltsdauer reicht.
Der Boden der Hütte ist nicht isoliert, dicke Socken oder warme Hüttenpatschen sind empfehlenswert.
Die Raumluft der Hütte lässt sich mit dem kleinen Holzofen in relativ kurzer Zeit sehr angenehm aufheizen, in der Nacht muss man bei tiefen Außentemperaturen aber mal Feuerholz nachlegen.
