The Werdau Forest is just 1 km away—a vast woodland area perfect for cycling, featuring cozy spots for a bite to eat and a forest playground (fun for adults too!). About 500m away, Feldstraße is ideal for skating or a quick 20-minute stroll 'around the block.' For more adventure, the Elster Valley (approx. 7 km away) offers picturesque gorges perfect for climbing, paddling, and scenic hikes.

Our historic four-sided farmstead offers a peaceful and sheltered parking space on the gravel path opposite the main house, where you will find the toilet and washing facilities. You are welcome to enjoy the expansive garden facing the fields, which offers unobstructed views of both sunrise and sunset.

The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and cycling, while the nearby Elster Valley offers exciting gorges for climbing and paddling.

The Wi-Fi signal is a bit weak directly at the pitch but stronger in the washhouse. For charging small devices, you are welcome to use the sockets in the washhouse (please note the washhouse doesn't lock, but our farm is very private—only us and occasionally other guests are around. There is no direct power hook-up at the pitch itself). During the summer months, an outdoor cold-water shower is available. You can get hot water for washing up in the boiler room next to the washhouse (buckets are provided). Please 'reserve' the seating area, picnic blanket, and fire pit in advance, as we put these away when not in use. You may share these facilities with other campers.

Please note, our location is quite secluded, so there's not much within walking distance (but plenty of peace and quiet!). "Paul's Bakery" and the "Diska" supermarket are in the village, about 2.5 km away. The "Kaffeescheune" coffee roastery is approximately 300m away (not a café, but you can buy freshly roasted coffee). The "Hof 19" farm shop and café in Braunichswalde, offering regional organic products, cuisine, and cultural events (readings, concerts), is about 5 km away.

I'm an author (fantasy, historical, autism guides) and you're welcome to borrow slightly damaged copies to read. If you enjoy the books, you can also purchase signed copies (including bookmarks and postcards free of charge!).
