Wir, Lydia und Markus, leben und arbeiten zusammen mit Markus’ Eltern auf unserem Bauernhof außerhalb vom Dorf, im wunderschönen Gantrischgebiet bei Schwarzenburg.
Auf unserem Hof leben Milchkühe, Rinder, Kälber, Lamas, Masthühner, Katzen und unsere zwei Sennenhunde.
Das Leben hier ist vielfältig und nah an der Natur. Wir sind gerne Gastgeber und freuen uns auf deinen Besuch, sei es für einen Einblick ins Hofleben oder eine kleine Auszeit auf dem Land.

Lydia and Markus are super friendly and warm. The sleeping barrel is super comfortably equipped and we had dreamy nights under the starry sky. The area around Schwarzenburg is very beautiful and offers several highlights to explore. We were also greeted very warmly by the barrel cat and got to cuddle with her for hours. :) The hot pot under the starry sky is highly recommended. We will definitely be back.
We had a few lovely days in the wooden barrel. It was a nice little break and very relaxing for us. Would recommend it. 😊
Lydia and Markus turned our one-night summer stay into a completely unforgettable and perfect experience! We were given a detailed tour of the stables, even got to bottle-feed a little calf, and during the night, we were even able to witness the birth of a new calf. It was quite a spectacle! The breakfast basket filled with all sorts of homemade treats was the perfect finishing touch. Thank you so much, dear Lydia and Markus!

Our short trip to Schwarzenburg was great. Lydia, Markus, and the whole family on the farm gave us a very warm welcome. Plus, the wooden barrel has everything you need in a very compact space. Our stay was only short, but we will definitely come back to Katzenstyg!
