Jurtenzauber im Naturpark Gantrisch

What a lovely find this was! We were in a rush to book something for the weekend and we ended up discovering Bärenbach! Both Chris and Ama were fantastic from the moment we were in touch, giving us all the details on how to get there, what to expect and what to do! The yurt was placed in a corner of their farm giving you total privacy and the only sounds you can hear during the day are the hum of a distant car or a plane. We even met two deers who were curious and came around. This is perfect for a big family of some friends to enjoy together. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. And on top of all of that, they have some fantastic home made products at the farm you can buy! We will definitely go back!

Beautiful, secluded area. The hosts are friendly and reserved, but help immediately with any issues or questions. The yurt itself is no longer in the best shape – lots of moisture with, let's say, black discoloration, especially around the entrance area of the roof. Unfortunately, there were also no outdoor seating options during our stay. The outdoor toilet wasn't ready either, so we often had to make our way to the main house. Looking at the farm surroundings, you can see how much work is still needed; so many "work-in-progress areas" simply can't be handled all at once. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my getaway there and will probably come back again ;-) Now I know the way.

My son and I had wonderful, albeit partly rainy, days at Bärenbach. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality wonderful. We would love to come back.

We received a very warm welcome and immediately felt right at home. The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, the yurt was overbooked, but we were able to stay in the cozy parlor instead – which was also a wonderful experience. Thank you very much for your flexibility and hospitality!

We had a very warm and straightforward welcome from Christian. If you love nature, don't need any frills, and are looking for a quiet place to unwind, this is the perfect spot. Good shoes are recommended 😉 Thanks Christian!

We really enjoyed our stay in the yurt. A wonderful nature experience, surrounded by lush greenery and animals. We found Christian to be a very pleasant and attentive host and are already looking forward to staying with him again.
