Beautiful place, many different pitch options – depending on whether you prefer something more social or secluded. The toilets were great, the wash areas too, the shower was basic but refreshing. Everyone we met from the farm was very nice and outgoing. There was also a small shared kitchen available, and coffee and tea were included in the morning. The only drawback: we found it a bit too expensive.

I was warmly welcomed by a regular guest there, and Melanie also took the time to explain everything to me in detail. In addition to their delicious vegetables (which you can harvest and weigh yourself, with payment on an honor system), they offer their guests outdoor kitchens, trees to hang swinging chairs, a little basket-weaving shop, and a dedicated tea and coffee station. A place to "unwind" and enjoy nature. I mostly spent time walking in the woods (since the temperatures were hot and summery), and this visit definitely won't be my last. Only 5 stars are possible, but it's worth much more (though exclusively for nature lovers!!). We'll call it 'Cockaigne' from now on and are very, very grateful to Melanie and Markus, but especially Felix, for the wonderful time on this precious piece of earth and the delicacies from the garden 🙏. Very friendly hosts. The site is a little natural paradise set amidst the nursery and fields. I would love to come back.
