Off grid nature campsite in private forest garden

The surroundings and the view are beautiful – you are truly in the middle of the forest. Furthermore, the hosts are incredibly friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, there was a problem even before our arrival, as two bookings had overlapped. As a result, we would have had to change locations for the second night. This is quite inconvenient, as you first get settled in and then have to pack everything up again the next day. The outdoor toilet matches the photos, but because of the various pitches, other guests use it as well. Consequently, it can happen that you walk to the toilet and see the person currently using it directly. This should be mentioned in the description so that guests know what to expect. Additionally, we couldn't plug in our cool box because only a small battery is provided. This limitation should also be communicated transparently. During the night, several dogs in the area barked almost non-stop, and you can also hear the noise from a nearby road. Therefore, there wasn't much of the expected peace and quiet. Ultimately, we decided to leave after the first night because several points did not meet our expectations or were not as conveyed in the description. It's a shame, as the beautiful location and the warm hosts actually have great potential.

A truly magical place and lovely hosts ❤️

Such a beautiful hidden gem in the middle of nature. We had a wonderful stay — a spacious spot for our glamping tent, a lovely hot shower, and a delicious dinner shared with the hosts. Wouter and Sabine are such welcoming and inspirational people, and they have created a truly special place filled with warmth and charm. This place will always remain special to us, as it’s where we got engaged. Don’t miss the walk down to the riverbank — it’s absolutely magical. We highly recommend this unique and peaceful retreat, and we wish Wouter and Sabine all the best with their many projects and with continuing to make this hidden gem flourish. Warm wishes, Lulu & Andy
