We absolutely loved our stay in Richard’s beautiful garden. It felt like such a special, peaceful escape. We spent the afternoon reading in the shade while watching the alpacas wander around, which was honestly magical. Having the entire garden to ourselves made it feel so private and relaxing. This was one of those places you don’t forget, and if we ever pass through Niedergesteln again, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had the opportunity to stay in Richard’s garden for three days, and we absolutely loved it. Our two boys had a fantastic time racing up and down the lawn and loved talking to and trying to charm the two alpacas that were our neighbors. They were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The camping spot is excellent, with a beautiful seating area under the trees and a small fire pit, making it the perfect place to relax in the evenings. The toilet, located right next to the parking area, was also spotless and very well maintained. The surrounding area is perfect for families, with several beautiful hikes nearby featuring caves, waterfalls, and streams to explore. The only thing we felt was missing was a warm shower. However, Richard kindly arranged for us to use the garden shower, which worked perfectly since the weather was warm during our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to nature.

Perfect location in the village. We hiked to the suspension bridge, the irrigation channels (Suone), and the ruins. The garden is very lovingly maintained with beautiful details. Richard's restaurant recommendation was perfect.

We stayed at Richard's home for one night and it was wonderful. The garden is very beautiful and well-maintained. The little hut with the toilet and sink was also very charming. Richard was very nice and we will definitely return to the village of Niedergesteln. The name 'Knight's Village' is very fitting for this place with its castle and stone walls. I would recommend it to everyone. It's well worth it!
