Very quiet and peaceful all night, and a great view. There are benches available to enjoy the scenery. The only downside was that dining options were limited; more variety would have been nice. However, we would love to come back for a night!
Simple gravel parking lot with a portable toilet, about 400m to the swimming lake.
Very quiet location and no other guests. But absolutely overpriced (€5/motorhome + almost €4/person) for a lit gravel parking lot with no other infrastructure whatsoever (no water, no toilet, no wastewater, no trash can) and a direct view of a mesh construction fence and excavated earth.
For the price, a toilet and water on site would be appropriate.
The lake and the surrounding area are wonderful. You can also eat very well in Burkheim itself: at the KreuzPost and Siebenter Himmel – fantastic! The camper pitch itself was very, very dismal!! A gravel lot with a construction fence and portable toilet right in front of your nose… We would recommend the upper one by the cemetery: nice view, trees, so shade is possible…
It is simply a gravel parking lot; no disposal facilities, fresh water, or similar services. Although it's nicely situated in nature and the swimming lake is very close by, stand-up paddleboarding is prohibited on the lake – a real shame. I paid 19 euros for 2 nights (the price goes up per additional person). In Breisach, you pay 13 euros for two nights and everything is included.
Unfortunately, no water supply/waste disposal and no trash disposal. €11.70 is too much for that.
