Natur poor/ Horben Blick, Platz bei Elli u Thomas

Super beautiful natural spot on the edge of the forest with a fire pit and a perfect view! Only 20 minutes by bike to the center of Freiburg. An e-bike is an advantage for the way back! Thanks to Elli & Thomas for this place!

The spot was really beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Elli is a super nice host and gave us a warm welcome. We would especially like to highlight that she helped us find the spot. Our GPS only worked up to a certain point and without her help – she even came to us on her bike and showed us the way – we would have had a hard time finding the place. That was really thoughtful and helpful. It was a pity that we couldn't use the fire pit due to the dry conditions and the increased risk of fire – but of course, no one is to blame for that. However, the access road was a bit of a stretch with our Golf Variant; that's something to keep in mind when arriving. The spot is located right on a forest path, so joggers and dog owners pass by every now and then. Personally, this didn't bother us. Depending on where you park the car, you get full sun quite early in the morning. Also, unfortunately, you can't enjoy a sunset from there. Overall, it's a nice spot, but we felt the price was too high in relation to what was offered.

Nicely secluded with a lovely view! Unfortunately, the path was at the limit for a normal car due to the ground clearance, and the price was also at my limit. I didn't meet the hosts or anyone else on-site. Thanks and regards!
