Jean was very welcoming and gave us a warm reception. The location is excellent, slightly up the mountain, but with these temperatures, it was perfect as the evenings were pleasantly cooler. Furthermore, the place is quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing. We would love to come back! :)
The perfect spot for those seeking peace and quiet. We spent three relaxing nights here, completely without luxury. The only thing we missed was hot water for washing up; otherwise, everything was exactly how we like it.
Great location, plenty of space, and a fantastic outdoor shower with mountain views. Thanks for the excursion tips! Would love to come back anytime. Ingo
The best part of the stay was having the entire grounds all to myself. A true blessing after spending every night of the previous week at different public campsites, which really isn't my thing. Unfortunately, there are no hosts on the Route des Grandes Alpes offering their land via Nomady yet, so I only got to enjoy this on my way back... Jean came by to greet me and reassure me that he was available at any time if there were any problems. So, I was finally able to spread out undisturbed and really enjoyed the night. I'm not giving a full score because, while I don't place any importance on sanitary facilities, if they are provided, they should be in a decent condition. Unfortunately, that was not the case during my stay. The composting toilet looked as if it hadn't been used in months. It also didn't look like anyone had given it a wipe before my arrival. The fridge and the sink hadn't seen a cleaning cloth in a long time either. This aspect was rather unappetizing, even if it wasn't very important to me personally. However, I want to mention it for the sake of completeness so that no one is surprised by these conditions. There was a power outlet where I could charge my power bank, and besides the peace and quiet, that was the most important thing for me. Personally, I would visit this spot again.
A beautiful spot higher up in the mountains. The peace and quiet I was looking for. There was plenty of space and I was able to enjoy the sun all day long. Jean and his wife were very nice and we could communicate in English. Many thanks. Au revoir.
