Thank you for the lovely time, everything was perfect once again.
Beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately very crowded in summer. Despite having a reservation, all the pitches were already occupied and there was no one there to help. We found that very disappointing. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay, but we wouldn't visit the site during high season again.
We stayed for one night. It was okay for the most part, except for the night. Quiet hours were supposed to start at 10:00 PM, but we were parked in front of the residential building near the garden where people didn't seem to care. Not very restful when you have a long journey ahead the next day. However, the garden was great and the sanitary facilities were clean. You have to bring your own toilet paper.
Rural campsite in Limburg, an excellent base for exploring the area or as a stopover on a journey north. Very quiet, surrounded by greenery. Services are free except for electricity and showers.
A peaceful spot on the Meuse, with all the essential facilities. Upon arrival, you can choose your own pitch, but please make sure to register your license plate promptly at reception, otherwise they will come looking for you. I think we unintentionally caused some trouble with that. However, I can highly recommend this site!
We felt more like we were at a campsite and the 'Nomady' feeling was a bit missing here. Luckily, there weren't many cars and we still felt comfortable. The shower, toilet, and washing-up facilities are very clean, rather basic, but practical. Don't forget to bring your own toilet paper ;)
Despite the site being completely overcrowded due to the Pentecost holiday, everyone was very relaxed and friendly. Jac, the organizer, was also very friendly and put a lot of effort into handling the rush. Although there were few toilets for such a large crowd, they were cleaned constantly. However, you should always bring your own toilet paper. The showers and dishwashing areas were also clean. The farm is in an idyllic location, and Beesel is within walking distance. Overall, we liked it very much. We are deducting one star because we initially didn't have an electricity connection due to the high demand. However, we were informed a few days in advance that this might happen.
We will definitely come back again. However, having only 2 toilets and 2 showers over the Pentecost weekend did push things to their limits. But other than that, Jac has a real gem here, and for hikers and cyclists, it's perfectly located right on the Meuse.
