Römerhof in der Vulkaneifel

I was here for the second time and it was great again! The fenced camping meadow is smaller in September than in July, but still enough for 4-5 pitches if you squeeze together a bit. Since the high season was over, that's perfectly fine. On the other hand, the directly adjacent cow pasture was correspondingly larger. During my three-night stay, a mother cow and her three calves were standing, lying, eating, and playing here the whole time. I really liked the proximity to the cows. Sitting in a camping chair and watching cows is very relaxing! I will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic overnight stay here! The facilities were very clean, and staying right among the cows was such a nice touch. The location was wonderfully quiet, and lighting a campfire in the evening completed the experience! It was no trouble at all to book firewood later on, and Felix was kind enough to bring it straight to our spot. We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future!

I spent a few wonderful days there and explored the area with my e-bike. A warm welcome and a very clean toilet are just two of the things that made for an extremely pleasant stay. Thank you very much!!!

Very nice campsite, very quiet. It was perfect for one night to explore the area and go hiking. The host was very kind. We even got to witness the birth of a calf.
