From your PODs, you can directly embark on biking, hiking, and wildlife watching adventures. For instance, you can spot storks just about 400 meters away! For water enthusiasts, paddling on the 'Glan' river is a fantastic option, approximately a 30-minute drive. If you're into rock climbing, thrilling spots are also reachable within about 30 minutes by car. Fishing is available at various locations, about a 15-minute drive away, with the appropriate permit and a locally purchased ticket. And for a refreshing dip, two beautiful swimming lakes are just about 20 minutes away by car.

Die beheizbaren PODs 'Dachsbau' und 'Fuchsbau' (jeweils für bis zu 2 Personen) befinden sich in einem separaten Teil des Gartens der Alten Schule, umgeben von Büschen und Bäumen. Die Alte Schule liegt außerhalb der Ortschaft, in Alleinlage. Bei entsprechendem Wetter habt Ihr einen tollen Blick auf den Sternenhimmel. Die Pods teilen sich eine Campingküche in der Garage (ca. 20 m. entfernt) und eine Dusche und Toilette im Haupthaus (ca. 60 m. entfernt). Die Gartensauna und der Grillplatz befinden sich einem weiteren Teil des Gartens. Findet Euren Lieblingsplatz!
Tolle Rad und Wanderwege findet Ihr in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung und sogar ein Nationalpark mit jeder Menge Ruhe, ist nur wenig entfernt. Bei uns sagen sich übrigens nicht nur Fuchs und Dachs gute Nacht, sondern auch Hase, Reh, Fasan, Wildkatze und Fledermaus! Wir sind gespannt, wen davon Ihr entdeckt!


In der Garage findest Du eine Campingküche. Sie ist ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank, Induktions-Kochplatte, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und Toaster. Geschirr, Gläser, Tassen und Besteck sowie Töpfe und Pfannen sowie Kaffee, Tee und ein paar Gewürze, sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
In den beheizbaren PODs ist ein Tisch vorhanden. Zusätzliche Tische findest Du, je nach Wetter, in der Garage oder im Garten, bei den PODs. Bei Grillplatz und Sauna gibt es weitere Tische. Im Garten findest Du neben offenen Sitzgelegenheiten auch einen überdachten Sitzplatz. Dusche und WC befinden sich im Haupthaus. An der Sauna gibt es auch eine zusätzliche Außendusche (solange die Temperaturen über dem Gefrierpunkt sind). Wifi gibt es am Haupthaus, mit mobilen Daten solltest Du aber auch in den Pods Empfang haben. Das Bett im POD (140 x 200 cm) ist immer mit einem Spannbettlaken bezogen. Kissen und Bettdecken sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Kissen- und Bettbezüge sowie Hand- und Saunatücher kannst Du selber mitbringen oder aber hinzubuchen (15,00 € je Person). Auch einen mitgebrachten Schlafsack kannst Du benutzen. 

Just 3 km away, the neighboring village offers a variety of supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, and a wonderful café.

We are nestled in the 'Hunsrück' low mountain range, a region that is both a National Park and a gemstone paradise. A direct road leads you right to the Old School, where you can park on-site. Immediately surrounding the PODs, you'll discover meadows and fields that seamlessly transition into enchanting forests. Fantastic hiking trails beckon you to explore! It's just 5 km to the 'Nahe', the largest river in our area, and about 20 km to two beautiful lakes perfect for swimming in the summer. Nothing stands in the way of wonderful excursions into nature here... whether on foot, by bike, car, or public transport, almost anything is possible!

POD 'Fuchsbau'

Auf dem Erbeskopf, dem höchsten Berg in Rheinland-Pfalz, ist bei den entsprechenden Witterungsverhältnissen Skifahren und Langlauf möglich.
Rodeln kann man, wenn genügend Schnee liegt, direkt bei der Alten Schule.
Die Sauna ist im Winter mindestens genauso schön wie im Sommer und auch 'Wintergrillen' ist nicht zu verachten.
