Important: Vehicle height must not exceed 3.20m! "Rank" tent or pitch at the "Oak" natural monument. Secluded at the edge of the forest, this gravel path is perfect for tents and camper vans. Fresh spring water almost always flows from the trough, which can be drunk at your own risk. A composting toilet for our guests is located in the hut's anteroom. There you'll find benches and tables that can be set up at the pitch/tent site. Inside the cozy hut, the table comfortably seats 8 people for sitting, eating, and playing. You can build a fire and cook in the wood-burning stove. A box of firewood for this costs €8 (hardwood, short). If the weather isn't too dry, you're welcome to make a fire in the fire pit at the pitch. Two grills/fire pits are available. Firewood is available in the hut for €6 per box (hardwood, short). Mobile phone reception can be very poor depending on the provider. This spot has 2 pitches.

The "Guck emol" hiking trail around Oberwolfach offers breathtaking views of our community. For mountain bikers, the central Black Forest is a true paradise. Ever wondered how silver was mined? You can explore this question underground at the "Grube Wenzel" visitor mine. Climbing enthusiasts can test their skills at the Hornberger Platte. At the Vogtsbauernhöfe Open-Air Museum in Gutach, you'll discover a wealth of information about life and culture in the Black Forest. Our region offers so many opportunities to make your holiday an unforgettable adventure!

For us, this stay was the very first with Nomady and we were absolutely thrilled. We were here in October and were lucky to have this beautiful spot in the forest all to ourselves. The cabin provides the essentials for those who need them and is beautifully rustic. Contact with the host was super friendly. The price for firewood is more than fair, we thought, and there were several fire pits to choose from. Even ones with a swiveling grill grate. So anyone who wants to cook over a fire can do so. Depending, of course, on the forest fire level. We would love to come back to this romantic little spot of earth.
The peace and seclusion are simply a dream. This was already our second time here, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night, but everything was perfect.
The site is very beautiful and quietly located.
The access road is a bit steep, but easily passable without any problems, with a really great view.
Monika and Fritze are also both very lovely hosts.
I can definitely recommend this place.
I will definitely be coming by more often.

What wonderful seclusion and tranquility, it was an impressive starry sky ... after the rain.
Fritze and Monika are extremely helpful and understanding hosts. My partner, our two dogs, and I really enjoyed the stay and spent two very relaxing, quiet nights. We would love to come back anytime! :)
