Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find a Volg supermarket and a Landi store. There's a charming café at the train station, and for dining, you can enjoy the Restaurant Mühlebach nearby or explore more options in Riggisberg, just a 5-minute drive away.
Right nearby, you'll find a beautiful biotope. Please note that young children must be supervised at all times. You might even catch a glimpse of some turtles!
In summer, you can enjoy the public Gürbebadi (free river swimming). You can also directly access the Gürbetal Ridge Trail, or venture into the Gantrisch Nature Park. The Bernese Oberland, as well as the cities of Bern and Thun, are all easily accessible.
All local winter sports resorts are easily accessible within an hour via public transport.

Spacious spot with valuable shade from the two trees. Great view, very quiet. Margrith and Ändu are incredibly warm and very hospitable. We were even allowed to enjoy fresh eggs, raspberries, and tomatoes from the magical garden. We look forward to the next opportunity to stay there. Thank you so much!

Superb spot, plenty of space, very warm welcome, quiet. Electricity and water available. Ground is slightly sloping and bumpy.
The camping meadow is beautifully located with a great view of the Bernese Alps. The hosts are extremely friendly, have a great sense of humor, and are very flexible! You just need to be aware that you need your own toilet, and for showers, it's either the lake or your camper. However, water and electricity are readily available. If you're looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds, this is the perfect spot. There is a Volg and a small Landi nearby, and the café has fresh rolls—though without extras like jam, cold cuts, or eggs—but that’s not an issue since the Volg is right next door.
Our stay with Margrith and Ändu was wonderful. The hosts are warm and attentive, and the place is beautiful and wonderfully quiet. We felt completely at home.
