Your perfect retreat in Emmental. Here, you can relax in an idyllic atmosphere and a lovingly designed environment, immersing yourself in the wonderful natural landscape of the Napf region.

We offer a rustic 'Spycher' (traditional granary) with a bedroom and a living area featuring a dining table, seating corner, kitchenette, as well as a terrace, balcony, and a spacious garden.

In the garden, you'll find several seating areas, a fire pit, and a grill grate. A washing-up area, separate washbasin, and toilets are located outdoors.

The shower with warm water is freely accessible in the nearby farmhouse. The 'Spycher' is situated right next to our organic farm. We have dairy sheep and cats. If you'd like to join us for milking, you're most welcome!

For your convenience, grocery shopping is available in the neighboring village of Trubschachen (Volg, by the train station), in Langnau (Migros, Coop, organic store Frischpunkt), and in Eschholzmatt.

It could hardly be more idyllic. It was so beautiful, peaceful, and cozy. You can never get tired of the surroundings and the view from the Spycher. The little house is decorated with so much attention to detail and feels very "homey". We felt extremely comfortable and didn't lack a thing. Christine and her family are wonderful hosts and always up for a chat. The animal highlight was the morning and evening greeting from the cats. We would love to come back.

Idyllischer geht‘s fast nicht. Es war so schön, ruhig und gemütlich. An der Umgebung und der Aussicht vom
Spycher kann man sich kaum satt sehen. Das Häuschen ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr „heimelig“. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, es fehlte uns an nichts. Christine und ihre Familie sind sehr gastfreundlich und auch jederzeit für einen Schwatz zu haben. 
Das tierische Highlight war die morgendliche/abendliche Begrüssung der Katzen. 
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Our camp is located in the beautiful municipality of Trub at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level. Our family runs an organic farm with dairy sheep.
Behind our charming traditional 'Spycher' storehouse, a spacious camping spot awaits you with breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, as well as the Schrattenfluh. Enjoy your getaway in the rolling hills of the stunning Napf region.

Spot
This spot is located on a partially grass-covered gravel area surrounded by pastures. It is very peaceful here, yet full of the sounds of nature. On clear nights, the starry sky will leave you in awe, as there is no light pollution. 
Right at the campsite, you will find a fire pit with a grill grate and a table with 6 chairs. 
If you are traveling as a group, there is enough space for two vehicles.

Sanitary Facilities
The toilet, shower (with hot water), and dishwashing area are located in the adjacent farmhouse. These facilities are occasionally shared with guests staying in the Spycher. However, the campsite itself is for your exclusive use.

Spycher Rental
If you are interested, we also rent out our Spycher on Nomady.

Seating Areas:
- 1 picnic table at the camp with 6 chairs and a parasol
- 1 picnic table directly below the farmhouse with two benches (sheltered from the wind)

Fire Pit & Grill:
- There is an elevated fire pit with a grill grate.
- Firewood is available for purchase on-site in baskets. One basket costs 8.00 CHF. You can pay in cash or via Twint.
- Please observe the current local fire safety regulations, which may restrict or prohibit the use of the fire pit depending on weather conditions.

Shower and Toilet:
- The shower is freely accessible and located in the upper part of the farmhouse; towels, shower gel, and shampoo are provided.
- The flush toilet is located below the farmhouse. Toilet paper is provided.
- Both the shower and the toilet are accessible across a short-mown lawn. These facilities are sometimes shared with guests staying in the 'Spycher' (granary).

Waste Disposal:
- Disposal at the farmhouse for: glass, PET, tin cans, and cardboard.
- There is a composting area on the premises.
- Please dispose of any other general waste (subject to local fees) yourself.

Washing Up:
- A washing-up area with hot and cold water is set up for you below the farmhouse. Dish soap, tea towels, cloths, brushes, and a draining board are provided. This area is also occasionally used by guests staying in the 'Spycher'.

Refrigerator:
- The refrigerator at the farmhouse is reserved exclusively for you and is accessible at all times.

Games and Activities:
- Upon request, we are happy to provide outdoor toys, colored pencils, and board or card games free of charge.
- There is a sandbox on the grounds, which is sometimes used by other children.

Shopping options:
- If you need to pick up some groceries, your last chance is at the Volg store by the train station in Trubschachen. It is open until 8:00 PM during the week and until 5:00 PM on Saturdays.
- In Langnau, you will find several supermarkets (Migros, Coop, Aldi) and two organic shops (Pfyfouter and Frischpunkt). Please note that all shops are closed on Sundays.
- You are also more than welcome to purchase fresh vegetables and herbs directly from our garden.
