Situated in the middle of our olive grove, the octagonal wooden platform offers a special retreat for all those who want to enjoy peace, open space and the beauty of Tuscany. Surrounded by old olive trees and with views over the gentle hills of the Maremma, here you experience nature directly and informally. Start the day with birdsong and a coffee in the morning sun, or enjoy the special atmosphere of Tuscan evenings under the open sky. Your place includes a private outdoor kitchen with dining area, where you can cook comfortably and let the day come to a relaxed end. Your own bathroom with a warm outdoor shower is located nearby and is exclusively for your use. During your stay, you can also use the Wild Camp's infinity pool and let your gaze wander over the surrounding landscape. The peaceful location makes the Ottagono Base the ideal starting point for relaxation, hiking, trips to the sea or exploring the charming villages of the Maremma. The Ottagono Base offers you a close-to-nature glamping experience in the middle of our olive grove. On the spacious octagonal wooden platform, a comfortable double bed with linens awaits you for restful nights under the starry sky of Tuscany. Right at your spot, your private outdoor kitchen with cooking facilities, dishes, cutlery, and a cozy dining area is available. For food storage, you can use the shared refrigerator in the camp's central wooden building. Your private bathroom is located in the immediate vicinity and is reserved exclusively for you. It features a WC, a sink, and a warm outdoor shower, so you can enjoy nature even in your daily routine. During your stay, you also have access to the infinity pool of the Wild Camp and can fully enjoy the tranquility, the expanse, and the special atmosphere of the Tuscan hills. A special place for all who appreciate simplicity, comfort, and closeness to nature.

Next to your tent, you'll find a small outdoor kitchen with a three-burner camping stove.

In the communal area in the olive grove there is a shared refrigerator, as well as a washing machine and a sink for washing dishes.

In the village just two kilometres away, you'll find everything you need for daily life: a supermarket, a pizzeria, a pharmacy and a bakery – ideal for easily stocking up on all the essentials. To help you start the day relaxed, we also offer a breakfast and bread service at the Wild Camp. During high season, our restaurant is open four times a week, so guests can enjoy themselves right on site amidst the olive grove – no driving required and plenty of atmosphere.

The tent is located in an old olive grove of around 10 hectares in Tuscany. Here, closeness to nature is truly guaranteed, and you shouldn't be surprised if you see a hare dash past while enjoying your morning coffee, startle a pheasant during a walk, or hear a roebuck cough in the olive grove in the evening.

With its peaceful location, Wild Camp offers the ideal retreat to escape the stress of everyday life – yet numerous excursion options are available in the immediate vicinity. On less sunny days, the freely accessible hot sulphur springs of Petriolo invite you to relax. Both the thermal springs and the sea can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. In addition to the classic beaches with their bagni, where you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers, Tuscany also has many unspoilt, wild beaches that enchant with their original charm. Those who love Tuscany for its medieval, sleepy villages will find what they are looking for on every corner. A stroll through the narrow alleys and a gelato in the afternoon sun are simply part of the experience. Active holidaymakers also get their money's worth: the region offers hiking trails of varying difficulty as well as hilly, picturesque routes for cyclists that make the landscape experienceable in a particularly beautiful way. For culture enthusiasts, Siena with its sights is a must. Nearby highlights such as Sant'Antimo and San Galgano are equally worthwhile and can be perfectly combined with a wine tasting or a plate of pasta to make a perfect day trip.
