Shopping facilities are approximately 4km away in the town of Kusel, and 7km away in Altenglan.
Michels Burg on Remigiusberg, with an on-site restaurant, Potzberg with certified hiking trails, and a wildlife park.
Our place is located directly on a certified Remigius hiking trail (http://www.remigiuswanderweg.de), offering fantastic hikes to Remigiusberg, the Propsteikirche, and Michelsburg, or through the forest to Potzberg with its wildlife park and observation tower (http://www.potzberg.de/).

- Right in the middle of a residential area between houses 👨👨👧
- Garbage collection came early in the morning 😂
- Church one street over, including regular church bell ringing ⛪️🔔

For my first camping adventure in years, the location in a residential area was ideal, as I would have had immediate help in an emergency. In addition, the property was a good day's hike away from where I live.
1 star deduction for the above-mentioned minus points, otherwise everything was great! 😁👍🏻👋🏻
Very nice meadow and very friendly contact! :)
Nearby there is a fountain (without a "not drinking water" sign) and a picnic area with a table and two benches, where I had breakfast in peace.
Minus one star because the meadow is unfortunately slightly sloped and I had to look around a bit to find a sleeping spot where I wouldn't roll away at night. ;)
Quiet location, great view, and a pleasant welcome from the host. Perfect spot for campers who love hiking.
Simply fantastic, would gladly come again!
