Camping in Rhineland Palatinate

Idyllische Wiese am Bach

Germany-55 Stromberg
This approx. 1,700 m² meadow is located right by a stream and is suitable for both tent camping and camper vans. If the grass is wet, please drive with caution, as it is easy to get stuck after a downpour. A booking always includes the entire area, meaning you will have the meadow exclusively to yourself. The property sits right along a country road and is therefore very easy to reach. It can be a bit noisy during the day, but there is hardly any traffic at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. A small fire pit is also available. In cases of extreme drought during the summer, please refrain from lighting campfires. It is a shame to have to mention this, but due to increasing issues with rubbish on the meadow, here is a brief note: please take all belongings and waste with you when you leave and leave the site just as you found it. This means no rubbish or items that belong in a toilet left in any bushes, nor full rubbish bags left behind. Any littering will be officially reported in the future. PS: Check-in and check-out times must be specified on the platform, but they do not need to be strictly adhered to, especially on days without a preceding or subsequent booking.

Ich bin David, 37 Jahre alt und leidenschaftlicher Wildcamper. Our stay at David's camp was super nice. The spot is easy to find using the coordinates and easily accessible. The camp is surrounded by fir trees, and tall trees on the pitch provide extra shade. We, and especially our dog, really loved the trees and particularly the stream with crystal-clear water. We were able to enjoy our time in absolute seclusion. The camp is located along a road, but it didn't bother us at all since there is very little traffic. The forests are beautiful and varied, and you can also hike through vineyards. All in all, perfect and highly recommended. We would love to come back. Thank you David for sharing your idyllic meadow by the stream. Nick, Michele, and Zeusi 🐾
We really liked the place, however, since we spent the whole day there, it was too noisy due to the adjacent road. There was also nowhere to walk the dog.
A great spot, right by the stream, which is also bigger than it looks in the pictures. The location by the road might be a slight downer for some, but it didn't bother me at all. Check-in and check-out are just as easy as communicating with the owner. Would gladly come back if I'm allowed ;D
The spot right by the stream is truly dreamy! I spent a weekend there with my dog to escape the city heat and it was really great! The country road behind the hedge didn't bother me in terms of noise level. In any case, almost no one drives there in the evenings and at night. The only drawback regarding the location, which doesn't affect the site itself: you can't start hiking directly on foot. Theoretically, the nearest hiking trail passes right by the campsite, which is only 500m away. However, those 500m lead directly along the country road, which is not suitable for pedestrians due to the stream on one side and the slope on the other. But there are hiking parking lots all around that can be reached by car within a few minutes :)
It was really lovely! Unfortunately, we had a lot of traffic at night and bad luck with the weather, which is why we left early. Thank you very much!
