In principle, we had a lovely time, but unfortunately it was simply too cold. The briquette stove is not sufficient when temperatures are around 0 degrees. A heads-up regarding the temperature situation would have been good. We woke up to 10 degrees in the morning, even though we got up during the night at times to keep the heating going. Manuela was very nice and gave us a partial refund when we left a day earlier than planned (due to the temperature).
It's a super cozy little cottage in the middle of a garden and a small orchard. On the porch swing, you can comfortably watch birds and a little mouse foraging for food and just relax. Would love to come back!
It was our second visit, and for good reason! Manuela was very friendly and easy to reach. The cottage was a dream, as was the location! Highly recommended!
Das WE in Manuelas Häuschen war ein Traum. Fantastische Aussicht, Vogelgezwitscher, viel Natur und volle Entspannung. Das Häuschen ist mit allem ausgestattet, was notwendig ist. Manuela ist eine zauberhafte Gastgeberin. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!
Very nice, quiet location with beautiful walking/hiking opportunities in the surrounding forests. Also, very friendly contact. We'd love to come back :)
