Schlafen am Waldrand auf dem Heuchelberg

It was a truly beautiful place. We had wonderful weather for bike rides, and were able to end the evening by the campfire. For us, it was fantastic.

Would love to come back again :) the host was very friendly, I was able to book the hut spontaneously at short notice since it had rained very heavily. Firewood was there and everything was just right. A lovely little spot where you can have some peace and quiet. And if needed, you can fire up the stove in the hut. That allowed me to dry my soaked clothes a bit and recover before pitching my tent. Recommended for bikepacking

Stephan was a first-class host. Communication was extremely pleasant and straightforward; plus, all questions were answered promptly and directly. The spot was very well-maintained and idyllically located on the edge of the forest... the photos on the site didn't promise too much. A very clear recommendation, a stay there is worth it in every respect. As far as hiking routes and scenery are concerned, the surrounding area also has a lot to offer. Conclusion: We had a wonderful weekend and it certainly won't be our last time there... Thanks Stephan and see you soon 👋
