A dream campsite 'On the Meadow' – absolute peace and seclusion near our farm. Here, you can go hiking, mountain biking, or simply enjoy pure nature! The site is located at approximately 700m above sea level in the heart of the Black Forest, between the Elz Valley and Freiamt. It is situated directly on the Kandelhöhenweg and the Freiamt Panorama Trail.

You will be parked slightly above our farm, where you can soak in the views.
We are happy to provide electricity, water, and Wi-Fi (see details below).
There is a second pitch on the opposite side, also listed on Nomady. Therefore, you might have some friendly neighbors during your stay. Alternatively, you can book both pitches if you are traveling with two vehicles to have the entire space to yourselves.
We, the Gerber family, run this historic farm. While we no longer have active agriculture, we look forward to welcoming guests and sharing our beautiful homeland with you.
In case of snow or very muddy conditions, access is only possible via Schillingerbergstrasse No. 21.

Self check-inYou arrive on your own, without a welcome
You can cancel up to 3 days before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Cancellations are only accepted via the designated cancellation tool. Verbal or written agreements cannot be taken into account. You can find out how to cancel in our FAQs.

Your pitch is located directly on the Kandelhöhenweg and the Freiämter Panoramaweg. You're also connected to the 5-star hiking region of Zweitälerland and find yourselves in the mountain biking paradise of the Black Forest. If you're looking for a break from active holidays, it's just a stone's throw to the charming town of Emmendingen, and you can reach the university city of Freiburg in just 30 minutes.
In Freiamt, you'll discover numerous restaurants and several direct marketers selling their products straight from the farm. We recommend visiting Freiamt Tourism at www.freiamt.de to get inspired.
