It was super nice once again!! Franz and his family were, as always, very helpful and friendly. Franz built a wooden cabin that we were allowed to stay in, simply fantastic!! We could look out over the lake with the ducks, watch birds and dragonflies during the day, and bats at night. The large window offers a fabulous view of the sunrise and sunset. The moon and stars are also wonderful to see. Anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet should definitely book with Franz; the toilet is nearby and clean, there is always toilet paper, the sink is very practical, and you can also dry your clothes in the room.

An incredibly beautiful campsite. Wonderfully quiet and with a fantastic view. Franz is exceptionally friendly and easy to reach at any time if you have questions. Highly recommended!

Wonderful spot and super pleasant hosts. Despite a misunderstanding (we'll do better next time, Franz! :D) that forced him into some serious athletic performance, Franz didn't let it faze him and calmly explained everything we needed to know. The next morning, we had some very interesting & pleasant conversations. And before departing, we were able to briefly meet Franz's horses. :) To address some previous reviews: YES, you can see the valley from the meadow. NO, Odessa the dog is not dangerous, but she is a farm dog doing her natural job, and naturally alerts when figures she doesn't usually see are moving around the farm. And in our experience, the way to the farm is not difficult to find either! Tip for future visitors: Ideally, fill up on drinking water before the climb, as the walk to the water and the toilet is a bit further!

Beautiful and super peaceful spot. Very nice hosts. Good location. A great option in this country where bivouac is "streng verboten" ;-) Instructions were not super clear but that was not an issue for us. For the next guests: - when you are number 10, you need to drive another 2-3 minutes to find number 11 where it is - to go the spot you need to walk up 200 meters (Franz told us it was in the description but it's not, at least in the English version). The toilet is where you leave your car (i.e. 200m away from your tent)
