Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

The Rischbühl parking area is ideally located on both the Kaiserstuhlpfad and the Bienenfresserpfad (European Bee-eater trail), making it the perfect starting point for hikes throughout the Kaiserstuhl region. The entrance to the Bickensohler Lösshohlwegepfad (Loess Hollow Way trail) is also just a few meters away. Beautiful view, unfortunately it was a bit noisy for us as someone was partying. Levelling ramps are helpful. We would go back again.

Starry skies, vineyards, and peace. That's what awaits you at this pitch. The drive there is a bit of an adventure, but manageable. We would have liked one more sign, as our sat nav was a bit overwhelmed. If you arrive too early, the space might still be occupied by cars. - Happy to come back anytime. Thanks to the city for providing this opportunity.
