Super experience. Great dogs, scenery and host!

It was a wonderful stay!

We spent a wonderful week in Thomas's shepherd's wagon. The proximity to nature and the breathtaking, peaceful beauty of the Schwändital will remain a precious memory for us and our children. Upon our arrival, Thomas gave us a friendly welcome with his dogs and even helped us unload our fully packed car. The wagon has everything you need for daily life. We were even able to take a bath on the terrace with a view of the mountains in the evening sun on our very first night. Throughout the week, we explored the surroundings, and Thomas didn't hesitate to patiently explain his work to us or take us out to the pasture to see his sheep. He even stood by us with advice and practical help during a couple of car emergencies. We want to say a heartfelt thank you and hope to come back one day.

Die Ruhe und Stille inmitten der wunderschönen Natur – genau das haben wir gebraucht. Es gibt hier keinen Handyempfang, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Die Unterkunft ist schlicht, aber sehr schön. Man findet hier alles, was man braucht. Thomas ist ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Adam, Veronika und Lusy

An overwhelmingly beautiful place, perfectly equipped accommodation, and an attentive, caring host—I can only find superlatives to describe it. When you add the animals into the mix, it becomes very hard to leave when the weekend is over. At this point, Thomas, a heartfelt thank you to you for the impressions and experiences!

The shepherd's hut is set in a very idyllic location and is cosily furnished. Everything was provided, so we didn't need a sleeping bag. Especially with children, the accommodation is a wonderful adventure with its outdoor kitchen and outhouse. We liked the dogs and sheep, which is a must. Thomas was very helpful and gave us an insight into life on the alpine pasture. We would love to come back.
