If you fancy a dip, you can also cool off with a jump into Lake Wilersee or Lake Zug. For thrill-seekers who love slides, Alpamare in Pfäffikon is the perfect spot. The Swiss Holiday Park offers a fantastic swimming area along with many other attractions. Hiking enthusiasts will be incredibly well catered for. We recommend the scenic ridge hike over the Höhronen mountain range to Gottschalkenberg, Raten, and on to Einsiedeln. The Sihlgalerien are breathtakingly beautiful, especially during a hot summer. Zugerberg and the charming Old Town of Zug are always worth a visit. In Lorzentobel, the Höllgrotten (Hell Grottoes) are a must-see. The Ägerital valley offers numerous hiking trails and many cozy inns to stop for refreshments. Further highlights include Sattel-Hochstuckli. In winter, the cross-country ski trail in Menzingen is still an insider tip. For those seeking tranquility, a visit to Gubel Monastery or Menzingen Monastery is highly recommended. From our location, crossing the Seedamm, Rapperswil with its picturesque pilgrim's bridge and the children's zoo are always worth the trip. Animal lovers can visit Goldau Zoo or Langenberg Wilderness Park. As enthusiastic e-bikers, the Herzroute (Heart Route) cycling path 99 holds a special place in our hearts.

"It's so beautiful here, one should be able to vacation at your place," is a common remark from hikers. On clear days, we enjoy panoramic views of Säntis in Eastern Switzerland, the Zurich Oberland, Lake Zurich and Albis, the Black Forest, as well as Rigi and Pilatus. The forest and hiking trails are quickly accessible. Enjoy an overnight stay on our farm in Menzingen. Breakfast is included in the price.

We are a B&B, so breakfast is always included. We're delighted to recommend our neighbors at Restaurant Gubel, just a pleasant 15-minute walk away, where breathtaking sunsets are always on the menu! For a romantic setting, discover Restaurant Sihlmatt with its charming Sihl galleries. Rössli Menzingen offers delicious Swiss cuisine, while Ochsen Menzingen is consistently excellent. And for the best pizza in town, you absolutely must try the Pizza Svizzera at Pizzeria Perfect in Menzingen!

Lakes (Lake Aegeri, Lake Wiler, Lake Zug), hiking areas (Gottschalkenberg), and leisure activities such as Ägeribad, Lättich in Baar, Höllgrotten caves, and the Swiss Holiday Park are all within easy reach.
