Camp Stein

Switzerland-8762 Glarus Süd
Here, you can set up your tent or park your camper van. Our spot is incredibly peaceful, set back from the road yet still close to the village, offering stunning views of our local mountain, Tödi. In summer, a wide array of outdoor sports awaits, including biking, hiking, and swimming. A special highlight for nature lovers is the opportunity for wildlife observation in the nearby Fryberg Kärpf area. Very close by, we operate our farm with a charming farm shop and a cozy farm café (just 120m, ab…

Beautiful and quiet place. Thank you very much!
Beautiful spot. Mondholzstübli was a big plus. Marc was very friendly and made us feel at home immediately. We had a wonderul stay. Thank you 🙏🏾
We had a wonderful stay. The pitch is beautifully located and offers a fantastic view of the mountains. The nearby 'Mondstübli' is also great, housing the toilet and shower as well as a well-equipped common room. Marc is a very warm and helpful host. We felt completely at home and would love to come back. Highly recommended! ✨
A beautiful spot with a great view. Everything you need is within walking distance. Thanks to the Glarner Pass, we were able to get around without a car for the two days. A highlight for our kids was definitely the lambs (one only 3 days old) and the helicopters, which we got to watch transporting trees during the day.
Kitchen, shower, living room, Wi-Fi, electricity—everything was tip-top. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The only thing is that the access road, while well-signposted, is very narrow. Upon departure, we were verbally attacked quite harshly by a resident of the neighboring retirement home, even though we stopped, pulled over, and let her have the road with her walker and dog. The latter doesn't have anything to do with the stay itself, but it was unpleasant nonetheless.
Dreamy view, plenty of space, peace and quiet. Simply perfect in every way :)
Very friendly host, beautiful spot, definitely not your run-of-the-mill place. Would love to come back!
